3 ingredient shortbread

Ingredients:
- 225 g. butter, softened
- 1/2 c. powdered sugar
- 2 c. flour
- Optional (but highly recommended!):
- pinch of salt
- package of vanilla sugar
Instructions:
Blend butter and powdered sugar (and optional ingredients) well and then mix in flour thoroughly to make a stiff dough. Roll out, using a bit of flour on the board and rolling pin as needed, and cut into shapes. Can decorate with sprinkles, etc. before baking if desired (push them gently into the surface of the cut-out cookies.
Bake at 325F/160C for about 20 minutes.
